I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED FOOD. I GREW UP IN THE NIAGARA REGION WITH A GERMAN-ITALIAN FAMILY, SO WE WERE ALWAYS IN THE KITCHEN. MAKING PEROGIES AND KNODEL FROM SCTATCH AND GRANDMAS FRYING PAN COOKIES ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORIES.

NOW, THROUGH SELF-TAUGHT AND FROM KNOWLEDGE PASSED DOWN TO ME, I SHARE MY LOVE AND PASSION FOR FOOD AND SWEETS WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

 

MY QUEST INTO MY CULINARY CAREER BEGAN WITH A PREP COOK POSITION IN A CANTONESE KITCHEN, AND LEAD TO A POSITION I ABSOLUTELY LOVED AS A BAKER AT A BISTRO IN ST. CATHARINES. IN 2011 I GOT MARRIED TO MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND SANJAY AND MOVED TO BRAMPTON. THIS IS WHEN I SAW THE ADS FOR LIAISON COLLEGE OF CULINARY ARTS. I HAVE LEARNED  SO MUCH THROUGH MY EXPERIENCE AT LIAISON, AND LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. MY CHEF INSTRUCTOR, CHEF STEVE, IS JUST AN ALL AROUND AMAZING MAN AND WITH THE TECHNIQUES AND FINESSE HE TAUGHT ME, I FINISHED THE CHEF DE CUISINE PROGRAM WITH HONOURS. I CONTINUED MY EDUCATION THE FOLLOWING SUMMER WITH THE PERSONAL CHEF COURSE. MY CHEF INSTRUCTOR FOR THE PERSONAL CHEF PROGRAM, CHEF COLEEN, IS JUST A VAT OF INFORMATION. THROUGH HER TEACHING, CHEF COLEEN HAS GIVEN  ME BOTH PERSONAL SATISFACTION AND ENJOYMENT KNOWING THAT I HAVE RECEIVED THE MOTIVATION TO CREATE MY OWN CULINARY LIBRARY. WITH CHEF COLEEN AND CHEF STEVE TEACHING ME AND PUSHING ME THROUGH MANY ENGAGING LESSONS, I`M BOUND TO A NEVER ENDING JOURNEY, AND HOPEFULLY LIFE LONG COLLEAGUES AND FRIENDS . COMBINED, MY CHEF DE CUISINE AND PERSONAL CHEF COURSES HAVE GIVEN ME AN HONORARY CULINARY MANAGEMENT DIPLOMA. HOWEVER, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE ACCOMPLISH THIS, I WANT TO CONTINUE TO LEARN MORE AND GET DEEPER INTO CULINARY. 

 

I`VE MADE THIS WEBSITE TO LEAD MY CAREER AS A PERSONAL CHEF. IT`S ONE THING TO PREPARE MEALS AND DELECTIBLES FOR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CLIENTS SAYING IT IS YOUR JOB OR CAREER. BUT BEING ABLE TO SERVE QUALITY FOOD AND HAVE THE SATISFACTION OF KNOWING YOU HELPED PUT HAPPY SMILES ON THE CUSTOMERS FACE AFTER THEIR BELLIES ARE FULL, IT`S ALWAYS WORTH IT. 

 

WHETHER IF MY PATH LEADS ME DEEPER INTO PASTRIES, CAKES AND CONFECTIONS, CATERING, FINE DINING, OR BEING A PERSONAL CHEF FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, I KNOW I HAVE A GREAT JOURNEY BEFORE ME. EVERY DAY IS A CHANCE TO LEARN SOMETHING NEW, AND I AM ALWAYS READY FOR THAT OPPROTUNITY.
